  9. well... its not real bump mapping but looks the same. i think for 2d game looks finr enough.

  17. well..i have made some static shadows, can YOU test it? just say fps and what PC(if it low-end also be good how long it loading?) link:http://www.myexamples.ho.com.ua/sh.php?a=dl as you can see any(ANY!) sprite can be shadw caster.
